The former Head of State and former presidential candidate, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.), Thursday, November 29, lost his eldest daughter, Mrs. Zulaihatu Abdullahi from childbirth complications at a Kaduna hospital.
The 40-year-old Zulaihatu is a graduate of Economics from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. She is survived by her husband, Captain Junaidu Abdullahi and three children; Halimatu Sa’adiya Junaid (daughter), Muhammadu Buhari Junaid (son) and the baby boy she was delivered of three days ago.
She was buried last night at Unguwan Rimi Cemetery in Kaduna in accordance with Islamic rites.
May her soul rest in perfect peace.
