"The God I know does not cause accidents" – Femi Fani Kayode blasts Aviation Minister

Nigerian Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah while fielding questions Monday, October 7, on the ill fated Associated Airline crash that claimed 14 lives in Lagos, Stella Oduah described the accident as God’s will that is inevitable…

We do not pray for accidents  but they are inevitable. But we will continue to do everything to ensure that we do not have accidents. But an accident is an act of God.

Again, we do not speculate on the cause of accidents.  Until  they happen, you cannot  say this is the cause or that is not the cause. But what is obvious and is the truth is that, in aviation, there are shared responsibilities, starting from the man that carries your luggage to the man that makes sure that your boarding pass is issued to you.

Femi Fani Kayode thinks otherwise: Here's what he wrote on twitter and on facebook...

The God that I know and serve does not cause fatal accidents. Only the devil does that. You can say a fatal accident is an act of God only if the devil is your God.

If you can steal from the dead, you can kill the living and drink their blood. May God deliver us from this vampire Minister.

Don Pedro Okojie says…

I watched the minister of Aviation making some comments on NTA last night about complains of the state of the aviation industry following the crash last week. The minister referred to her critics as drunk or clueless. This minster spoke like a drunk to me and she was stammering clueless like a 2b class primary student calculation arithmetic exams. Who do you serve madam minister? The people or your caucus? You should be glad you're not a minister in the UK, you would have resigned by tonight for that shabby, arrogant, clueless, press responds yesterday.
